## 1. Rule

A canonical term is legal only if it appears here. Code, contracts, tests,
queues, containers, env vars, route names, database objects, and display labels
must derive from these rows through GCS-NAME-001 casing transforms.

## 2. Core Terms

| Canonical | Class / type | Definition | Source |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| global_control_structures | GlobalControlStructures | The system that reconstructs gating control over FIC, MIC, and TIC flows from public records. | GCS-SYS-001 |
| control_topology | ControlTopology | Directed graph of gating relationships across the complexes. | GCS-SYS-001 |
| redistribution_vector | RedistributionVector | Net direction and magnitude of value, capability, or control transfer over time. | GCS-SYS-001 |
| value_redistribution | ValueRedistribution | Currency-flow transfer from many to few. | GCS-SYS-001 |
| capability_redistribution | CapabilityRedistribution | Transfer of productive or technological capacity. | GCS-SYS-001 |
| control_redistribution | ControlRedistribution | Concentration of gating power itself. | GCS-SYS-001 |
| chokepoint | Chokepoint | Flow-control node with no bypass, concentrated operation, and high switching cost. | GCS-SYS-001 |
| flow_control_node | FlowControlNode | Node through which a relevant value/capability/control flow must route. | GCS-SYS-001 |
| bearing | Bearing | Independent record stream's line-of-sight on a claim. | GCS-SYS-001 |
| concordance | Concordance | Proof criterion requiring audited-independent bearings to agree. | GCS-SYS-001 |
| engagement_channel | EngagementChannel | Off-record pressure mechanism estimated by distortion of observable governance signals. | GCS-SIG-003 |

## 3. Data Terms

| Canonical | Class / type | Definition | Source |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| point_in_time_store | PointInTimeStore | Store that records what was knowable as of each timestamp. | GCS-DATA-002 |
| raw_store | RawStore | Immutable as-received filing/API payload storage. | GCS-DATA-002 |
| normalized_store | NormalizedStore | Re-runnable normalized relational records derived from raw payloads. | GCS-DATA-002 |
| source_authority_tier | SourceAuthorityTier | Tier 1 primary, Tier 2 structured secondary, Tier 3 ambient timing. | GCS-DATA-002 |
| entity_resolution_graph | EntityResolutionGraph | Shared issuer/filer/fund/recipient/government node and edge graph. | GCS-DATA-002 |
| identifier_crosswalk | IdentifierCrosswalk | Effective-dated CIK/ticker/CUSIP/LEI/UEI mapping. | GCS-DATA-002 |
| independence_audit | IndependenceAudit | Collapse of non-independent holders before concordance or concentration claims. | GCS-DATA-002 |
| adjusted_holder_bloc | AdjustedHolderBloc | Independence-adjusted holder group after sub-advisor/family collapse. | GCS-SIG-003 |
| as_of_timestamp | AsOfTimestamp | Time at which a record was knowable. | GCS-DATA-002 |
| fetch_timestamp | FetchTimestamp | Time a raw source payload was fetched. | GCS-DATA-002 |

## 4. Runtime And Deployment Terms

| Canonical | Class / type | Definition | Source |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| gcs_project | - | Local Compose project namespace reserved for future containers. | GCS-DEPLOY-002 |
| gcs_web | GcsWeb | Future web/API service identity; Docker DNS form is `gcs-web`. | GCS-DEPLOY-002 |
| gcs_postgres | GcsPostgres | Future Postgres service identity; Docker DNS form is `gcs-postgres`. | GCS-DEPLOY-002 |
| gcs_object_store | GcsObjectStore | Future raw-payload object-store identity; Docker DNS form is `gcs-object-store`. | GCS-DEPLOY-002 |
| contract_header | ContractHeader | Required measurable source-file promise header. | GCS-NAME-001 |
| contract_check | ContractCheck | Static validator command `python3 -m tools.check_contracts --check`. | GCS-TEST-001 |
| no_async_queue | NoAsyncQueue | Current runtime contract forbidding broker/queue/worker implementation. | GCS-RUNTIME-001 |
| conformance_report | ConformanceReport | CI/local evidence that all contract gates passed for a source revision. | GCS-TEST-001 |

## 5. Closed Enums

| Enum | Values | Rule |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `source_authority_tier` | `TIER_1`, `TIER_2`, `TIER_3` | No asserted number may rest only on `TIER_3`. |
| `redistribution_kind` | `VALUE`, `CAPABILITY`, `CONTROL` | Kinds are never pooled. |
| `contract_status` | `OWED`, `DRAFTED`, `SETTLED`, `SUPERSEDED` | Register status lifecycle. |
| `runtime_phase` | `STATIC_CONTRACT_SURFACE`, `POINT_IN_TIME_STORE`, `INGESTION_PIPELINE`, `ANALYTICS`, `PREDICTION` | Phase 0 is `STATIC_CONTRACT_SURFACE`. |

## 6. Validation

Positive verification: `python3 -m tools.check_contracts --check` finds this
artifact and the required canonical runtime terms.

Negative verification: removing `no_async_queue`, `contract_header`, or
`point_in_time_store` causes the vocabulary gate to fail.
